Amelie Korn

Amelie Korn is a lawyer who advises on complex commercial disputes. She represents national and international clients both out of court and before state courts and in arbitration proceedings. In addition to her expertise in litigation, Ms. Korn has in-depth knowledge of corporate law, which she gained during her doctoral studies at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and through her work as a research associate in the Corporate/M&A team of an international commercial law firm. Her dissertation focuses on partnership law, specifically addressing the unique characteristics of family-owned businesses.

Career
Amelie Korn studied law at the University of Passau and the University of Münster with a focus on contract drafting and dispute resolution. In this context, she dealt extensively with civil procedure, litigation strategy, and out-of-court negotiation techniques.

She completed her legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg, with placements including the litigation team of a Hamburg law firm, the family law senate of the Higher Regional Court, the Hamburg Port Authority, and a law firm in Cape Town, South Africa. Since June 2025, Amelie Korn has been strengthening the team at MANGAL LEGAL.

Doctorate
Ms. Korn is pursuing her doctorate at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg in the field of partnership law, focusing on family-owned businesses.
