Of Counsel: All Of Counsel lawyers of MANGAL LEGAL are admitted as lawyers in Germany and are members of the bar associations of their respective locations. Their respective bar association also constitutes the supervisory authority responsible for them.

There is no partnership of any kind between the Of Counsel lawyers and MANGAL LEGAL or its partners. Therefore, mandates are established only between MANGAL LEGAL and the respective client or between the client and the respective Of Counsel. Consequently, neither the respective Of Counsel assumes any liability for the services of MANGAL LEGAL, nor, conversely, does MANGAL LEGAL assume any liability for the services of an Of Counsel.

Professional regulations: The relevant professional regulations for lawyers are, a.o., the Federal Code for Lawyers (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung, BRAO), the Rules of Professional Practice (Berufsordnung für Rechtsanwälte, BORA), the Act on Remuneration of Lawyers (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz, RVG), the Specialist Lawyer Regulations (Fachanwaltsordnung, FAO), the Law regulating the activity of European lawyers in Germany ( Gesetz über die Tätigkeit europäischer Rechtsanwälte in Deutschland, EuRAG) and the Code of Conduct for Lawyers of the European Union (Berufsregeln der Rechtsanwälte der Europäischen Union, CCBE-Berufsregeln). Conflict of Interest: The representation of conflicting interests is prohibited for attorneys due to German professional regulations (Section 43a para. 4 BRAO). Before accepting a mandate, we therefore always check whether there is a conflict of interest.

Applicable law: The mandate agreement and the rights and obligations arising therefrom shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction for disputes arising in connection with the mandate agreement or concerning its validity shall be Hamburg.

All issues and disputes arising from or in connection with this website shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Out-of-court settlements: In the event of disputes between attorneys and their clients, there is the possibility of out-of-court dispute resolution services upon request pursuant to Section 73 para. 2 No. 3 in conjunction with Section 73 para. 5 BRAO or Dispute Resolution Board (Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltsschaft) (Section 191 f.
